The Construction and Optimization of Habitat Networks for Urban–Natural Symbiosis: A Case Study of the Main Urban Area of Nanjing

Maintaining ecological balance relies on biodiversity, and habitat network construction plays an imperative role in preserving biodiversity regional areas. Nevertheless, there is a problem with the current construction, which focuses exclusively benefits without taking other into account as well. In this paper, six species of birds varying types adaptabilities to city life are selected target build based InVEST model, Circuit Theory, Linkage Mapper, focusing nuclei, patches, corridors, islands for harmonious coexistence human-green space-birds most densely populated area Nanjing, refine landscape design techniques creation. Below summary main results. Firstly, direct relationship between distribution migration capabilities urbanization adaptation species. Meanwhile, quality has significant impact bird distribution.
